Advocating for Health Equity
in Our Communities
Engaging and interactive education about health disparities
Where we’re born, grow, live, and work help shape the quality of our overall health. Economically challenged and communities of color though face disparities in the availability of and access to:
— Quality education and job opportunities
— Nutritious food
— Safe housing
— Affordable and reliable public transportation
— Local health care and emergency services
— Public safety
As our communities become more diverse, addressing these social determinants of health (SDH) is paramount in improving the health of our communities.
